A water source that comes from the former pit village of fallen trees in Betek, Mojoagung District, Jombang, since a few days be fight the people to drink. The people believe, the water can cure many diseases. Puddle emerged since Saturday (27/2/2010), following the collapse of a large tree by the local people named iprik or banyan tree rubber (Ficus retusa). Large trees are uprooted when a tornado hit.
Sholeh, one citizen said, a day after the fall of trees, in a puddle or a falling tree holes that emerged from the water source under the tree or tree roots.
"We think if we drinking that water, can able to heal all diseases. Initially, I was exposed to the disease rheumatic pain, but after drinking the water, I was instantly cured the disease, "Sholeh said , Thursday (4 / 3).
The same thing also was said by Yusuf, the local residents. According to the young men, based on stories from generation to generation, is already iprik trees hundreds of years old.
"It is said that already existed since 1800," said Yusuf.
When collapsed, said Yusuf, in addition to raise the water source, in the pools there is also the ancient bricks. "Although the water dirty, but desperate people take it because they considered of benefit," explained Yusuf.
