11 Tips for Fighting Fair in Marriage

February 2nd, 2010

By Ai Cahyati

1. Take responsibility for yourself and your behaviour.

Take time to think before you speak or act, and admit it if you make a mistake. Don’t blame your partner.

2. Be honest about yourself and what you have done, and let others do the same. Sharing honest thoughts and feelings is difficult, but it’s key to fighting fair in marriage.

3. Say, “I feel sad, angry, hurt, etc.” Don’t say, “It feels like…” Own your feelings, rather than trying to shift blame or guilt onto others for the feelings they trigger.

4. Never interpret yourself or someone else. It’s easier to keep communication open if you let people ask questions. Similarly, ask questions when you don’t understand — don’t try to guess what your partner thinks. When in doubt, ask for clarification. This isn’t just a tip for fighting fair in marriage, it works in all aspects of life!

Firefox Optimization

July 19th, 2009

Firefox Hello Listeners, today I would like to give some tips that I got from Pcplus several days ago and now I would like to share with you.

Firefox has been so popular nowadays, I think you all know about it or maybe now you are using Firefox when browsing my blog. I think everyone like using Firefox because it is so fast and light when you have to run any website. Actually, you can still optimize your Firefox, and just follow the steps below:

  • Click [Start] > [All Programs] > [Mozilla Firefox] > [Mozilla Firefox]
  • After browser window open, type on the address bar : about:config then [enter]
  • After that, find “Preference name” called “network.http.pipelining” and change the value  to “true”.
  • Move to “network.http.proxy.pipelining” and fill out the value with “true”.
  • At “network.http.max-connections-per-server”, fill out the value with “32”.
  • For preference “network.http.max-connections”, change the value with “60”.
  • Make a change to the preference “network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy” by filling out the value with “16”.
  • Change the “network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server” to “8”.
  • The last, change the preference “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” with “30”.
  • Right click your mouse on the empty area in your browser and then choose [New] > [Integer]. Give the name “layout.initialpaint.delay” on the “preference name", and fill out the value with “0”. Create one preference again by right clicking and choose the menu [New] > [Boolean]. Fill out the name with “browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs” and set the value with “true”.

That’s all, and I will post any other tips here. Thanks to PCplus.

Social Aggregator Service is effective?

May 21st, 2009

Are you a member of some social networking websites such as Facebook, Friendster, FriendPlay, and many more? I am sure that if you join many social networking, it will make you harder and harder to remember all those logins, passwords, and most importantly to remember which of your friends what network.

Now, you can consolidate all your social networking accounts into one account so you can control and manage your social networking such as replying messages, reading new information, and much more. You can join Social Aggregator. It can be a website or application on your PC.

However, many of the social aggregator will ask your profile info completely including your passwords. It means that you give them your private data and they will freely manage it. I think it is not too safe (even not safe) to you.

Now I would like to inform you that you can use an application/tool to only monitor your activities in social networking, not full management. The aggregator to monitor your social networking is SocialURL (www.socialurl.com). Do you want to try? Just check out!

How to build confidence in front of an important person

February 4th, 2009

All great ideas will lose at once when someone has to meet an important person, or you will be nervous when your superior calls you. This will happen because you or I have no confidence when we have to meet an important person. Our fault is we feel that we are under him/her at position or at socioeconomic. How to build confidence in front of an important person, below are the tips:

1.    When you have to meet face to face with an important person, say that you are the same as him/her. Say in your heart that you are important as well him/her.
2.    If you need him because you are as an employee of him/her, you have to believe that he/she needs you as well. Think that without you, he/she will not be like that.
3.    You must always remember that he/she is human beings, not God, not anyone. He/she is the same with you, the creatures of God.
4.    Believe that he/she has the same feeling as you do.

Well, this is my experience that I get as long as I work at a company. Maybe you will feel the same as I do that we feel nervous when we have to meet with an important person. If you gave any experience to overcome the feeling, let us know by commenting below.

However, in the contrary, if my job is something annoying, I become lazy to do some works. Finally, I will get stress. As you know, that stress will make our health down.
